I’m Sonia, an artist and designer from Freeport, Maine.
My work begins outdoors—through hiking, observing the landscape, and capturing quiet moments through photography. From coastlines and waterways to forests and mountain views, nature is where I feel most grounded.
Laconica is the home for everything I create. Through Laconica, I create nature-inspired fine art, build thoughtful brands through Salty Serif Studio, and design everyday goods with Evergreen Drive. While each brand has its own purpose, they all share the same goal: creating work that helps people feel more connected—to nature, to creativity, and to themselves.
